This former rice store has a relaxed and calm atmosphere where you can enjoy home-grown produce at its best.

This dish uses rice made in Higashi Takasu. The trick is to prepare the rice with flavor while frying it in the pan, and the amount of salt at this point determines the final taste of the dish. After you've finished half, try it as an "ochazuke" by adding the white fish dashi (broth) on top. This restaurant was originally started so "people got to know the farm produce we grew and raised ourselves." We can safely say that all of Hokkaido nature's bounty fills our dishes. As our name states, we are most proud of the rice we use. The name of our restaurant is exactly what we are; [My House] ("rice cave" in Japanese characters). We renovated what used to be a rice storage and created a special space with a calm, warm atmosphere. We want you to be able to relax and enjoy our speciality dishes. A vaulted ceiling, exposed columns and a wood stove have all been carefully chosen to decorate the interior and create a special relaxing atmosphere. Recharge yourself by eating delicious dishes made from Hokkaido's produce. This dish uses rice made in Higashi Takasu.
