Notojima Aquarium

An aquarium where you can experience fish feeding.

Area Map

Notojima Aquarium
The first thing you will see is the largest fish in the world, the whale shark. You will be overwhelmed by their sheer size and the elegant style of swimming. Good observation points are placed around the giant aquarium tank, so you can observe the giant fish from a variety of angles.
The aquarium accommodates 500 species, 40,000 creatures mainly caught in the sea near Noto peninsula. A spectacular view of more than 10,000 Japanese sardines making a huge swirl, and a fantastic view of jellyfish floating – you can never experience elsewhere.
You can also enjoy the sea otter feeding show, fish feeding show, watching penguins walking around the facility, and even touch the dolphins.
