Sumibi Yakitori Kirishima

This is the local cuisine that is often eaten in Miyazaki prefecture. We use chicken bred in Miyazaki, so the meat itself is delicious. The taste of the meat is brought out even more by the flavor of our homemade tartar sauce. As a brand of chicken, it is said that "Miyazaki-bred chicken" is famous for its defining traits of being low in fat, low in calories, and good for digestion. When the thigh meat is carefully grilled over a charcoal fire, it becomes a masterpiece of flavor as the smoky taste blends into it. We have heard from people who are particular about Kyushu flavors, as well as people from Kyushu, that they enjoy our Miyazaki chicken and our various shochu (Japanese spirits).
