Our owner's parents are harvesting kelps in former MinamikayabeTown. At [Kihara], you can enjoy home-made seasoned salt using their kelps. This salt simply brings out the sweetness, flavor and taste of elegant sea urchin.

We serve pacific flying squid with karami daikon (hot white radish). In former Minamikayabecho, the hometown of the owner of this restaurant, karami daikon is used instead of wasabi (Japanese horseradish) and ginger, as they are seldom harvested. The sharp taste of karami daikon multiplies the sweetness of the squid.
