Meigara Tonkatsu Fukuro selects brand-name pork from all over Japan and offers three types of pork. By frying slowly at a low temperature, the flavor read moreof the ingredients is brought out to the maximum, and the surface is kept beautifully white while avoiding browning, resulting in Tonkatsu filled with meat juices. For those who want to enjoy the popular taste, the "loin," characterized by the deliciousness of lean meat and fat, and for those who want moist and tender, the "fillet" is recommended. For frying oil, 100% lard is used, which provides a good texture and mouthfeel. The restaurant also pays particular attention to the rice, selecting moderately firm rice with good graininess.
