Ota

Ota city, located at the southeast of Gunma prefecture, is the leading industrial area in northern Kanto region. With many workers coming from abroad, mainly from Brazil, there are many grocery stores selling ethnic foodstuff in the city. You may want to taste the famous local specialty, Joshu Ota Yakisoba, fried thick noodles similar to chow mein. The ample, reasonable and tasty dish will satisfy your stomach.
