Kamata
KAMATA, located at 10-minute away from the Haneda Airport by train, is a traditional folks town where you can find common Japanese lives when you stroll about the shopping street. Although it is largely unknown even among the people in Tokyo, Kamata is a town of hot springs. You can find eight hot springs in ten-minute walk area around the Kamata station where you can enjoy traditional Japanese-style public bath, spa, resort-type bath, etc. The blackish brown water, called "kuro-yu (black water)", makes your skin smooth and bright, and is also said to have healing effects for illnesses and injuries. Why don't you try one and relax after your long trip to Tokyo?
