Notojima Glass Art Museum exhibits almost 400 glass art works of contemporary glass artists from the world. The art works exhibited here includes those crafted at glass workshops in Venice based on ideas by Picasso and Chagall as well as historic glass art works in Qing dynasty era.
More than a dozen glass sculptures are placed in the Western-style garden. You can enjoy the beautiful sculptures change their look by season, by weather, and by time.
Inside the museum building, a number of deliberately designed special exhibitions and workshops are held. Some of the exhibitions and workshops require prior registration, so you are advised to check the schedule on the website.
