The Hakone Open-Air Museum
The Hakone Open-Air Museum boasts a range of sculptures including many masterpieces of globally well-known masters like Picasso, Henry Moore and Medardo Rosso. Most of the sculptures are located in the large, green 70,000 square-meter (approx. 17 acre) garden, so you can describe the place not a museum but a beautiful garden with a full of artistic masterpieces.
One of the highlights of the museum is "ashiyu" or footbath, where you can enjoy the warm and relaxing hot spring for free. It is really a comfortable experience to enjoy the artistic masterpieces while soaking your feet in the warm water. Your fatigue melts into the warm water, refreshing your mind and body. Also there are facilities where kids can have fun, so the entire family can have a great, enjoyable time here.
