This is the master chef's proud dish that cannot be found in any other restaurant. This sukiyaki (hot pot stew)-style dish uses a special warishita sauce (made with soy sauce, mirin, and sugar) containing our seasoned cod-roe. Enjoy domestic black pork loin and fresh vegetables with our [home-made dipping sauce with tororo mentai (shredded Chinese yam and seasoned cod-roe)] using Kayanoya's broth.

[Shobo-an's Mentaiko Gozen (set meal with seasoned cod-roe)] Fully enjoy our pork miso soup with various ingredients and seasoned cod-roe at lunch.

This is a special lunch menu with the whole spicy mentaiko (seasoned cod-roe) of Shobo-an. Our special sauce brings out the original savory taste of the cod-roe from Hokkaido. Fully enjoy this large portion dish with our home-made pork miso soup with an abundance of ingredients and rice cooked in a pot with brims.

Enjoy this lunch menu with just-cooked hot tamagoyaki (rolled omelette). It is cooked after receiving an order. Enjoy its slightly sweet taste using Kayanoya's broth. This popular dish has been attracting many guests since the restaurant's establishment.

[Limited quantity] Hakata Medetamabushi

Fresh fish caught in the Kyushu seas are thoroughly marinated in dashi soy sauce and the skin is seared to give it a fragrant finish. It is a dish suitable for celebratory occasions, as it is made with plenty of auspicious ingredients such as mentaiko, fish that grow up to become a sign of success, seaweed, and sesame seeds.

Shobouan's Flying Fish Broth and Mentaiko Set

You can enjoy the luxurious taste of Shobouan's ago dashi mentaiko. We are particular about using rare cod roe from Hokkaido, and by soaking it in dashi made from domestic grilled flying fish, we carefully bring out the original flavor of the ingredients.

Fresh fish with sesame and soy sauce

Fresh sashimi is served with a special sesame soy sauce. The rich flavor of kelp and the luxurious aroma of sesame bring out the umami of the fish, and the mellow sweetness fills your mouth. *Prices may change depending on the type of sashimi.

Hakata Gameni

The chicken is slowly cooked starting from the skin side. The sweet and spicy, tender and plump chicken is simmered in a teriyaki sauce, and the delicious flavors spread throughout the dish. The handmade Hakata Gameni has a gentle flavor that reminds you of the nostalgic taste of your mother's cooking.

Grilled cod with mirin

In order to thoroughly infuse the flavor into the fatty cod, it is carefully seasoned in two stages. The special sauce of mirin and soy sauce gives it a fragrant flavor, and the mirin-yaki cod, which allows you to taste the natural umami of the ingredients, is a popular fish dish that originated in Hakata.
