A part-time job during student days sparked an interest in the culinary world.

Mr. Matsuda was born in 1981 in Okinawa. From a young age, he loved eating. A part-time job during his student years ignited his passion for the culinary world, motivating him to pursue a career in the food industry. He has worked at various establishments, including an Okinawan cuisine restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, and an izakaya. At one izakaya chain, he was given responsibilities for product development. Currently, he is serving as a chef at Itsumo Tsukiyoni, which opened in August 2025.
