He continues to cultivate the Spanish culinary skills he honed in Tokyo in the land of Izumo.
Born in Shimane Prefecture in 1984, he spent two years training at a Spanish restaurant in Kagurazaka, Tokyo, where he acquired the fundamentals and techniques of Spanish cuisine. After returning to his hometown of Izumo City, he gained experience at Western-style restaurants and izakayas before opening Gyro with his family in 2008. Utilizing the wide range of experience he has cultivated, he continues to dedicate himself to creating a restaurant and cuisine rooted in the local community.
