Celebrating 20 years in business, Konjaku Monogatari offers a superb marriage of meat and fish. The signature "Meat Sushi" is a sumptuous dish of wagyu beef and beef tongue cooked at a low temperature for five hours and served on special rice with original sushi vinegar. In addition, the gorgeous staircase arrangement is aesthetically pleasing and makes a magnificent presentation at the table. Other specialties are "Tuufu- Kaki (gout oysters)" with salmon roe and sea urchin on large oysters and "Fresh fish Sashimi" with a finely arranged presentation. The restaurant has a variety of seating options, including kawadoko sunken kotatsu seats that resemble those on a houseboat in Kyoto, couples' seats, and a loft on the mezzanine floor. It is ideal for various occasions such as New Year's Eve parties, welcome and farewell parties, dates, and business entertainment.
