Area Map
With a unique external appearance of a huge sphere, Nagoya City Science Museum makes you get excited before you step into the entrance. The huge sphere is one of the biggest planetariums in the world, with a diameter of 35 meters. Though the planetarium show is repeated six times a day, tickets can be sold out before noon.
In addition to the planetarium, there are many more attractions you can enjoy such as a facility where you can experience a world of -30 ℃, and a device that generates an 8 meters artificial tornado. There are a number of display items, too, so you can spend a whole day at the museum. You can not only make a queue and experience popular facilities but also enjoy many interesting display items. In fact, with a green wall system and an earthquake-resistant design, the building itself is a large scale display item.
