A sushi restaurant in front of Kanazawa Station where you can experience authentic sushi making, learning from a chef with over 50 years of experience

Sushi Sukiyaki Akamechan is a restaurant where you can savor Sushi and Sukiyaki. The owner greets you, standing at the single-board counter, making sushi with expert skills. Ingredients are carefully selected mainly from local products. You can enjoy seasonal delicacies from the mountains and the sea, including Noto beef and fresh fish from the surrounding seas. The best choice to accompany the dishes is sake. From local sake to limited edition sake, an excellent selection is available. The special "experience course" was designed exclusively for overseas tourists to meet the needs of overseas customers who want to try making Japanese food. You can learn how to prepare fish using the knives used by professional chefs and make dashi (Japanese soup stock) and nigiri (hand-rolled sushi).
