The course of seasonal dishes x grilled eel is well-reputed. Enjoy seasonal delicacies before the eel for a new dining experience!
Unagimae Etou is located in Kamata, Tokyo, a town with historical sites from the Edo and Meiji periods. The restaurant offers a new dining experience where you can enjoy seasonal appetizers and sake before the eel and finish with the eel. The owner, Mr. Etou, who has been devoted to Japanese cuisine for a long time, renovated the long-loved Japanese Cuisine Etou in the area in 2024. The restaurant has been attracting an increasing number of guests from Japan and abroad by proposing the "Unagimae" style, which adds a sense of seasonality to the special feeling of eating eel. The only menu is the "Omakase Course," requiring reservations. It is an authentic Japanese meal featuring seasonal appetizers and Kansai-style grilled eel, prepared with various seasonal ingredients. Eating charcoal-grilled, crispy, and fluffy eel is truly a blissful luxury. This is a wonderful place to visit during a trip to Tokyo for a gourmet meal or to explore Kamata as a short trip from the city!
