Pursuing the quintessence of the widely known Edo-mae style, the restaurant offers a blissful moment using carefully selected ingredients and techniques.
At Sushi Nakao, you can enjoy sushi that is a fusion of the finest ingredients and the chef's techniques. The menu only has the omakase courses, which are prepared with ingredients carefully selected by the owner. The restaurant is also known for its flexibility, such as ordering additional sushi to suit your appetite. Fresh fish is selectively chosen according to the season, mainly natural fish from the surrounding seas, including "kohada (gizzard shad)," a representative item of the Edo-mae style sushi, and the popular "tuna." The shari (sushi rice) are carefully cooked in earthenware pots, using pesticide-free rice, to enhance the flavor of the nigiri. Furthermore, no additives or chemical seasonings are used, and skilled techniques are fully applied to maximize the natural flavors and tastes of the ingredients. In this restaurant, with only counter seats made of a single piece of Yoshino cypress, everyone can spend a luxurious time while enjoying the work of the skilled chef right in front of their eyes.
