Enjoy the "ultimate shabu-shabu" prepared with "the rarest pork," Meishanton, clam broth, and charcoal fire at a hideaway in Akasaka.

Takane No Buta, located on the fourth floor of a building in Akasaka, Tokyo, is a restaurant where you can enjoy takane-no (too good) pork shabu-shabu, as the name suggests. Since its establishment in 2022, it has been loved by a wide range of guests for its outstanding taste created by carefully selected ingredients and cooking methods. The only item on the menu is the "Meishanton Pork Tannou (Enjoyment Course," which is available by reservation only. The  Meishanton pork is called "rarest pork" due to the rarity of its original breed. It has superb, beautiful marbling, which is uncommon in pork, and a mellow flavor. The restaurant's original broth with clams and charcoal heating further enhances the flavor of the meat. Furthermore, vegetables and mushrooms can be added for free. The zosui (rice porridge) at the end of the meal is also excellent, so be sure to preserve your appetite! The "umami, dashi, and charcoal fire" unique to Japanese food can be enjoyed; it is an ideal place for overseas visitors to experience Tokyo's gourmet scene.
