Hakusan National Park occupies a huge area which spans four prefectures; Ishikawa, Toyama, Hukui, and Gifu. Hakusan is a sacred mountain and untouched nature remains everywhere. There are tourism facilities such as Chugu Exhibition Hall, Ichinose Visitor Center, and Hakusan National Park Center where you can learn the flora and fauna and recurrent volcanic activities of Hakusan. Mt. Bunao Observation House provides an opportunity to watch wild animals such as Japanese serows, Japanese monkeys, and golden eagles in nature. It’s open from November 20 to May 5.
