Chusonji Temple

Chusonji temple has 1,150 years of history and is registered as a World Heritage. There are more than 10 buildings in the precincts such as the main temple, Mineyakushi-do hall, Shaka-do hall, and Dainichi-do hall -- especially, gilded Konjiki-do, small amid hall is the symbol of Chusonji and the building itself is a crystallization of arts and crafts. In the Sankozo, a treasure house, where more than 3,000 treasures and cultural assets are housed. You can enjoy the pinnacle of the Heian Period Buddhism art.
