Sankeien garden is a Japanese-style garden that extends to 175,000m2 (44.5 acre) and many historic architectures from Kyoto and Kamakura have been reconstructed and opened to the public. Utilizing the natural terrain itself, the exotic pure Japanese-style garden have been welcoming many tourists from both inside and outside Japan. There are 17 buildings located in the garden including 9 buildings that have been designated as Important Cultural Properties. At Sankeien Tea Hut, you can taste the specialty Japanese sweets and green tea while enjoying the beautiful scenery and the slow-flowing time. The garden is beautiful throughout the year, but the cherry blossoms in the spring and the red leaves in the autumn are exceptional.
