Area Map
Lake Kawaguchiko, one of the five lakes of Mt. Fuji, is famous for the beautiful reflection of Mt. Fuji on its surface. As one of the areas where the development started in the early stage, there are many tourist facilities around the area. Especially the hot spring district formed in the east-side of the lake is always lively with many people visiting old and new tourist facilities. The area offers a wide variety of accommodation options to tourists, ranging from luxury hotels to reasonable yet relaxing Japanese-style inns.
With a wide variety of fish living in the lake including black basses, you can enjoy fishing, too. Bass fishing is officially authorized. You don’t have to worry about fishing tackle; you can borrow whatever you need to enjoy fishing from the rental shops along the lakeside. Why don’t you join the bass fishing lovers coming from all over Japan?
