Savor Unaju Icho (grilled eel) at our restaurant, a best-kept secret

We have each day's portion of eel delivered-always live. The chef personally prepares each eel one at a time. Our secret-and the name of our restaurant-is sansho (Japanese pepper). Our sansho, from Kyoto, completely unlocks the flavor of the eel. We are very particular about our sansho, since we use it to draw out the flavors of the eel. We're confident that even people who normally are not partial to sansho will enjoy this. "We want you to be able to enjoy fresh eel at any time." The chef puts his whole heart into this, careful handling the eel from delivery to presentation everyday. Asakusa is known for having a lot of eel restaurants, with a large number being high class. Our restaurant serves fresh eel at very reasonable prices, earning us a reputation as a best-kept secret.
