Seasonal cuisine and warm hospitality in a quality space designed by Mr. Kengo Kuma.
Gaienmae Kinari is a 1-minute walk from Gaienmae Station, adjacent to the historic and famous Baisoin Temple. They offer Japanese cuisine that is aesthetically pleasing and full of delicate and unique flavors, using seasonal ingredients delivered from all over Japan. The restaurant's interior, consisting mainly of private rooms where you can relax with family members or a group, was designed by the world-renowned architect Mr. Kengo Kuma. You can have a relaxing meal in a small room surrounded by walls with paulownia wood or a tatami room with a sunken kotatsu. The fine sake to be enjoyed in such a refined setting includes seasonal sake that complements the cuisine and rare brands such as "Shizuku" and "Nizaemon" from the Kokuryu Sake Brewery. This is an ideal place for celebrations and anniversaries, dates, entertaining clients, and treating someone special.
