Takahiro Ota, Executive Sous Chef, Hotel New Otani Tokyo

Ota joined Hotel New Otani Tokyo in 1987. At Tour d'Argent Tokyo, he worked under Dominique Corby learning the essence of French cuisine. He has honed his skills through collaborative events with the renowned Alain Ducasse, and acclaimed Italian restaurants such as Gualtiero Marchesi, Don Alfonso, and Al Sorrisso. In 2022, he was appointed grand chef and director of culinary operations . In 2023, he was bestowed the title of Chevalier de l'Ordre du Mérite Agricole by the French government.
