Receiving compliments from guests, such as "delicious," is the greatest source of motivation.
Ms. Saito was born in Hokkaido in 2003. She has been interested in food and hospitality since childhood and entered the industry after becoming convinced that cooking was the best way to bring joy to people. After working at Japanese BBQ restaurants and izakayas, she now works at Yakiniku Marusho Sapporo Fushimi Branch, which opened in April 2026. She says that hearing guests tell her "It's delicious" is what gives her the greatest sense of fulfillment.
