The select natural tuna here at Otaru Masazushi comes from large tuna that weigh between 300 and 350 kg. It is very fatty, making it an excellent sush read morei topping with a flavor hard to find at other restaurants. We search for and serve especially sweet sea urchin, and we do not use alum to preserve the shape, so you can taste the raw, natural flavor. Our shrimp dishes use fresh-caught deep-sea shrimp and button shrimp unless it is seasonally unavailable. We pay careful attention to our customers and aim to create a pleasant atmosphere, serving tea before they have the chance to ask for it. We welcome and cheerfully interact with the many tourists that visit our restaurant. We are the only Otaru Masazushi branch where customers can enjoy a meal with a view.
