From the chef
Using techniques from Italy, France, and sometimes Japanese cuisine, Mr. Natsume brings out the best in ingredients.
He was born in Tokyo. In elementary school, he went to a teppanyaki restaurant with his family and was impressed by how cool and delicious the food was, which inspired him to pursue a career as a chef. After graduating from culinary school, he joined the Hilton Hotel and gained experience in various kitchens. He later worked at an Italian restaurant before becoming the chef at Tim's NY in Ebisu. Subsequently, he spent 15 years as the head chef at Ricos Kitchen, transforming it into a popular dining spot. In 2015, he opened KINOE, where he serves as the owner-chef.

The Chef's Restaurant Recommendation
Introducing the restaurants recommended by the professional chefs.
Putiresutorantomi
- Omori, Tokyo
- Italian/French / French
- The Reasons Why I Recommend.
- There is also an à la carte, but after all the “Chef's Omakase Course” is recommended. Depending on the ingredients purchased that day, you can think of the course menu. Of course, please feel free to consult with the chef for food that you are not good at, as it will suit your taste. There are only 10 counters in the store. There are many types of wine, so you can relax while having a meal. Please visit us once.
- The Reasons Why I Recommend.
- Located on the 3rd floor of the building along Meguro Street, it has a hidden atmosphere. There are only 8 counters and 2 tables in the store. As it is open from 18:00 to 3:00, I am allowed to talk well at the end of work. There are many types of wine, so if you want to drink wine in the middle of the night, do not miss it. Not only bottles but also glass wines are abundant. Of course the food is also delicious, especially the pasta. It goes well with wine.
Wasosakuta
- Meguro, Tokyo
- Taverns / Izakaya (Japanese tavern)
- The Reasons Why I Recommend.
- Although it is a Japanese restaurant only for the 5000 yen course, it is a casual atmosphere and you can relax and enjoy it. The course dishes are full of seasonal ingredients, so you can come across new flavors from many visits. The cost performance is the best because you have a dessert and you're definitely full. That's why it's very popular and it's a good idea to make an early reservation if you want to go.
