This [Seiro-mushi] consists of 2 stacked bamboo baskets: the first layer contains meat, while the second is an assortment of vegetables. These lovely baskets, look like jewelry boxes, are steamed in front of the guests. The vegetables will absorb the umami flavor of the meat. A healthy yet rich menu.
