An adult hideaway a short distance from Ebisu Station. Enjoy handmade Soba noodles and duck dishes in a quiet Japanese space.
A short walk from the east exit of Ebisu Station, Jigen is a hideaway for adults to enjoy handmade Soba noodles and duck dishes. The Soba noodles are "Hitachi-Aki Soba" produced in Ibaraki Prefecture. You can enjoy these richly flavored handmade soba noodles with soup made from kare-bushi dried bonito broth. Various combinations, such as tempura and tuketoro (graded yam), are available, so you can have what suits your mood of the day. The duck is "Zaogamo duck" from Miyagi Prefecture, fed with mineral-rich bamboo charcoal water and several kinds of fermentation bacteria to ensure its safety. It is served hot and cold duck soba or grilled on a ceramic plate with green onions, smoked duck, and grilled tsukune meatballs. The "Kamo-nabe" (duck hot pot), available year-round with reservations, is also delicious. The restaurant also serves seasonal sake prepared according to the time of the year. You will be able to spend a relaxing time in a soothing space.
