Susukino is known as a popular sightseeing spot in the Sapporo area. Hokkaido Yakiniku Kaneushi is located about a 3-minute walk from the station. Here you can enjoy carefully selected ingredients such as Shiretoko Beef raised in the wilds of Hokkaido. The restaurant offers a full lineup of finely-marbled "galbi (short rib)" as well as "halami (skirt steak)," "liver," and other hormones (offal meat), all of which are delivered to the restaurant without being frozen. It buys whole cows of Wagyu beef, so it is possible to taste rare parts of the cow such as "long cut tongue." Everything from vegetables and rice to sake and shochu (Japanese liquor) is available from Hokkaido brands. The inside of the restaurant, which covers the two basement floors of the building, has a chic and calm atmosphere. In addition to table seating, zashiki (tatami rooms) and private rooms are available for various occasions.
