From the chef
Mr. Matsubara's motto is "bringing joy to guests through food." He is a chef skilled in both Japanese and Western cuisine.

He was born in 1981 in Fukuoka. Influenced by her grandmother, who was an excellent cook, he has loved cooking since childhood. After graduating from high school, he entered the culinary world and began his training. He gained experience in various genres, including Italian, French, and sushi cuisine, honing his skills. In February 2024, he started his own business and opened the bistro Matsubokkuri Shokudo. He later changed the name of the restaurant to Washoku French Shinjuku Matsu. "Bringing joy to guests through food" is his motto.
