His father, who was a chef, inspired him to pursue a career in cooking

Born in Kamakura in 1980. Growing up watching his father, a Japanese cuisine chef, he naturally aspired to a career in food. Although the genre is different, he inherited his father's style of focusing on local Kamakura ingredients. After graduating from Kamakura Culinary Institute, he moved to Tokyo and studied the basics of Italian cuisine under Chef Konishi at [Sun Hitosara] in Ogikubo. Wanting to experience the authentic atmosphere, he traveled to Italy. After further training, he returned to Japan and finally opened [Restaurant Hitosara] in December 2014.
