Katsuura

The morning market of Katsuura, one of the most famous morning markets in Japan, has been held every day for more than 400 years. At 6:00 in the morning, vegetables cropped in the early morning and fresh fish just landed from the fishing boats are lined up in a row on the street. The most conspicuous of all is the local specialty bonito that is landed at the Katsuura port.
