The zoo is breeding ten elephants, which is the biggest number of elephants at any zoo in Japan. About 100 species of animals including camel and hippo are peacefully living at the zoo. One of the highlights of the zoo is that you can directly feed and even touch animals such as elephants and giraffes.
Another feature that is unique to the zoo is that you can enjoy many exciting events and shows. You will be overwhelmed by the powerful elephant soccer and dance. Spectators claps their hands to the “artistic" picture drawn by the elephant with a paint brush held in the trunk.
And finally, the elephant ride. The elephant walks around the plaza with you on the back. Only limited quantity of tickets are issued, so we recommend you to get it as early as possible.
