A popular cartoonist Ishinomori Shotaro is known for his works such as “Kamen Rider” and “Syborg 009.” The museum is built in the shape of a space ship. 3-D exhibition and animation movies express Ishimori’s world and draw visitors from all over the world. There is a road called a Manga Road, from Ishinomaki Station to the museum. Along the 1-kilomeer long road, there are more than twenty monuments of popular hero characters and benches. It is a must-see spot for Anime fans.
