Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium is proud of its large aquarium cistern, the inside of which various sea creatures such as 8-meter whale sharks and mantas are swimming around. It duplicates a 700m deep see and displays the beauty of Okinawa’s marine world. There are many tourist attractions such as the “Touch Pool” where you can directly touch sea creatures inhabit in coral shoals. Other popular attraction is the Okichan gekijo, a dolphin show with a lecture program where the caretakers give you interesting stories and knowledge about the lives of sea creatures.
