Kinugawa Hot Spring

Soft and gentle hot spring for smoother skin. The base for sightseeing.

Area Map

Kinugawa Hot Spring
Found and developed in the Edo Period, Kinugawa Hot Spring is one of the biggest hot spring resorts in the Kanto Region. With the good accessibility from the Tokyo area and a full of hotels and Japanese style inns along the Kinugawa River, many tourists visit Kinugawa throughout the year. The hot spring quality is soft and gentle to your skin, and is said to be good for recovery from exhaustion and health promotion. There are a number of attractive sightseeing sites around the Kinugawa area including Tobu World Square, a theme park where most of the famous monuments all over the world are reproduced as 1/25 scale miniature models, Nikko Edomura, or Edo Wonderland, a theme park where the townscape and the lives in Edo (old Tokyo) is reproduced, and Ryuo Ravine where you can enjoy the grandeur scenery of a waterfall as if a dragon wriggles. So you can make Kinugawa as the base for your wider sightseeing tour around the area.
