Ashikaga Flower Park

Flowers blooming in all four seasons.
You can never miss the beautiful wisteria and the winter floodlighting.

Area Map

Ashikaga Flower Park
The vast, 94,000-square-meter park, welcomes more than a million visitors every year, with a wide variety of flowers in all four seasons. You can enjoy flowers of the season throughout the year, and the one of the highlights is the beautiful wisteria. During “the tale of Fuji-no-hana (wisteria)” event usually held around the middle of April or May, a tunnel made of wisteria, as long as 80m, welcomes many visitors.
Also, “the garden of illuminated flowers” event held around the end of October is very popular. The event is chosen one of the biggest illumination events in the Eastern Japan area, and won the first place in the National Illumination Ranking.
The park is evaluated highly abroad, too; it was chosen by CNN Travel as one of the dream destinations for 2014. The flower park is a must-visit, popular sightseeing spot.
