    The "Shokusairoku" cuisine written by Tokugawa Nariaki has been revived in modern times!

    ”Shokusai-roku” is a collection of 300 recipes that are said to have been created by Nariaki Tokugawa (1800-1860), the ninth lord of the Mito domain (the domain that ruled the central and northern parts of present-day Ibaraki Prefecture). In the “Tasting the Phantom Recipes with History” project launched by Ibaraki Prefecture, a total of 11restaurants have cooperated to create an updated 2025 version of the menu!
