A popular must-try dish in Nagoya: "Katsudon without binding with eggs," made with carefully selected ingredients.
The 2nd branch of the popular Katsudon (fried pork cutlet bowl) specialty restaurant Katsudon Daijyu has opened. The signature dish at this restaurant is "Katsudon without binding with eggs." Using only female-branded pork from the Atsumi Peninsula, the cutlets are slow-cooked at a low temperature, with a thin, crispy batter to ensure tenderness on the inside and the delicious flavor of the pork. Under the thick cutlet is a fluffy, tender egg and rice with Takana (leaf mustard). You can enjoy it in your favorite way, either separately with the egg or with the egg crumbled on top of the pork cutlet. The sweet and spicy "Miso Katsudon" unique to Nagoya is also a favorite dish in the restaurant. It is no wonder that people keep coming back here for the delicious Katsudon.
