By blending the flavors of doubanjang (spicy bean paste), tenmenjan (sweet bean sauce), douchi (fermented black beans), and sanshou (Japanese pepper), a rich mala sauce (spicy Chinese sauce) is created. It has a flavor you won't be able to get enough of. Sichuan cuisine makes extensive use of different kinds of spice, including not just chili and sanshou, but also cinnamon, star aniseed, cumin, and more. At Shisen Hanten we focus on creating a stimulating, multilayered flavor through the use of 13 spices. As for service, ever since the establishment of Shisen Hanten, there has been a tradition of focusing on customer service.
