Kyo Unawa Honten Kiyomizu Hanare (Gion｜Unagi (eel))

Born in Kyoto Prefecture in 1970. From a young age, he had a strong interest in food, even cooking himself, and his desire to "eat delicious food" was the starting point for his career as a chef. After serving as head chef at a long-established yakiniku restaurant in Kyoto, he was involved in the restaurant business as head chef and in store development. He was involved in the founding and launch of [Kyo Unawa Honten] and has experience opening three stores in Nagoya. He returned to his hometown of Kyoto and opened his current store. Utilizing his many years of on-the-job experience and knowledge of store development, he values creating smiles for customers through his cuisine.
