Area Map

Gujo-Hachiman Hakurankan Museum was built in 1920. The museum, with a unique look of a stone-made entry hall and tiled roof, provides detailed information about Gujo-Hachiman from four different facets: water, history, crafts, and Gujo odori. Among the four exhibit sections, a special emphasis is put on Gujo Odori dance section. Its origin, history, and dance technique are explained in an easy-to-understand way, together with dance performances four times a day. Why don’t you try Gujo Odori dance with the dancers in kimono?
The brochure with a Gujo-Hachiman map provided to visitors together with the entry ticket is valuable, too. With the map in your hand, you can fully enjoy your tour around the castle town. It is highly recommended to start your Gujo-Hachiman tour from here.
