Providing a new experience of sukiyaki through a love for food and a welcoming spirit.
Drawn to the world of food from a young age, the chef was captivated by the beauty and delicacy of Japanese cuisine seen at a ryotei. After learning the basics at a long-established local ryotei, he opened his own creative izakaya at 24. Following the pandemic, he closed the restaurant to reflect on himself. Later, he honed his fish-handling and grilling skills at a dried fish specialty shop and now takes on new challenges using wagyu at SUKIYAKI Rokumatsu.
