Mr. Ito, a chef at Sukiyaki Juniten Kyoto, grew up in a family that ran a sushi restaurant, so food was a familiar part of his life from a young age. He later decided to pursue a career as a chef himself. After working as a chef at a hotel in Hiroshima Prefecture for two years, he moved his career to Kyoto. He honed his culinary skills for 23 years at the Kyoto Brighton Hotel, followed by 9 years at Hotel Kanra Kyoto, before arriving at his current position. He provides people with an unforgettable experience in Kyoto through exquisite dishes that satisfy all five senses.
