Area Map
Tsu City is located at the center of Mie Prefecture, facing the Ise Bay. It is a quiet, beautiful town with flowing clear water of Ano River and Iwata River. Three main historic roads cut through the city; Ise Road, Isebetsu Road and Iga Road. Tsu City has developed as a post town and has kept the atmosphere as it used to be. Misugi-No-Mitakesakura, cherry blossoms at Misugi area, is magnificent in spring. A -1.5 km-long array of cherry blossom is so beautiful that it is selected as one of the best 100 cherry blossom spots in Japan. The contrast between the pink cherry blossoms and the green tiered rice paddies are really breathtaking.
