From the chef
Our chef studied under the late Huiren Wang of Chef's, and chose to purse Chinese cuisine
Born in 1972, a Tokyo native. After graduating from high school, he worked for a year at a confectionery before going on to culinary school. While he was attending he trained for five years under the late chef Huiren Wang of Chef's restaurant. After that he acquired experience with Spanish, Italian, and Japanese cuisine in New Zealand, before coming to work at Chef's himself. After retirement he worked as a consultant for restaurants while studying business management. He opened Chinese Tapas Renge in August 2009.

The Chef's Restaurant Recommendation
Introducing the restaurants recommended by the professional chefs.
Sishuan Restaurant Choyo
- Yuzawa/Okutadami, Niigata
- Chinese / Szechuan
- The Reasons Why I Recommend.
- Once a month you will always hear, but every time you go there you will encounter food and knowledge that you don't know, so it will really be a study. The chef, Mr. Tatsumi, is not good at all, but he has a drawer so much that he respects. "Mao tofu" and "Caremen Noodle" are completely different in the smell when you make them, so I order about once in 2 times.
Mondo
- Jiyugaoka, Tokyo
- Italian/French / Italian
- The Reasons Why I Recommend.
- Mr. Miyaki's love for pasta is so great that when he wants to eat pasta, he wants to go to [mondo]. I especially like dried noodles, and I always have them added to the course.
Edosobahosokawa
- Ryogoku/Kikugawa, Tokyo
- Japanese / Soba (noodles)
- The Reasons Why I Recommend.
- Flowers are laid on the eaves, giving it a dignified appearance. Let's drink sake while leaving the seasonal taste to us, and finish it off. The scent is very good, the soup is spicy and the throat is refreshing. Unintentionally, I nod, "What is Edo soba?"
