OTARU MASAZUSHI SHINJUKU is located on the 14th floor of the Shinjuku Takashimaya department store. Founded in 1938, this is the Shinjuku branch of a read moresushi restaurant originally from the sushi street in Otaru, Hokkaido. About 70% of the ingredients are directly shipped via air from their fishmonger in Hokkaido, allowing customers to enjoy plenty of sushi and sashimi made with Otaru's seafood. The most popular lunch menu is the "Otaru" set, which features 12 pieces of sushi, including fatty tuna, appetizer, and soup. In addition, various courses are available, such as the "Shunka" set with 10 pieces of seasonal sushi and the "Hanazono Course" to enjoy recommended ingredients from the restaurant. Access is excellent as it is directly connected to Shinjuku Station. Private rooms are available, and this restaurant has a unique atmosphere that doesn't feel like it's in a commercial facility.
