Fukuura Island

The island is connected with the beach by a vermilion-lacquered, 252-meter long bridge. A promenade is well-established in the island, providing a great view of Matsusima Islands. It takes an hour to go around the island and you can enjoy your tour by stopping at spots including gazebos, Tenzinsaki Promontory, shell mounds and Bentendo Shrine.
